Desired Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
  • Current, valid state Occupational Therapy license (or eligibility)
  • Experience or strong interest in serving K-12 students; school-based OT background a plus
  • Knowledge of various delivery models including in-person, home health, and teletherapy
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and time management abilities
  • Passion for fostering student success and well-being

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive OT services to a diverse K-12 caseload, both individually and in group settings
  • Assess student needs and develop individualized intervention plans based on IEP goals
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and other school staff to maximize student outcomes
  • Document evaluation results, treatment plans, and student progress in accordance with district and state requirements
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute OT expertise to multidisciplinary teams
  • Utilize both traditional and virtual service platforms to meet students’ needs
  • Provide guidance, strategies, and resources to support school staff and families
