As a travel occupational therapy specialist in a school-based role, you’ll engage with a diverse caseload at the elementary level, supporting students’ developmental and academic journeys from September 1, 2026, through June 17, 2027 (with training days in August TBD). Qualifications:

• Active WA OT license (or eligibility for licensure by assignment start)
• Previous school-based OT experience preferred
• Proficiency with therapeutic interventions in educational settings
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Flexibility and adaptability to new environments
• Home health, pediatric, or general healthcare OT experience a plus
• Caseload focus: elementary students
• Open to OTs (no COTAs for this position)

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver evidence-based OT services to elementary school students
• Assess and document students' needs, progress, and goals
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families for holistic care
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans
• Participate in IEP meetings and interdisciplinary team discussions
• Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations
• Promote student independence and success within the school setting
