This full-time contract role offers the chance to make a measurable impact from late August through early November. Engage daily with a dynamic caseload while collaborating within a supportive school environment in the Sun Prairie, WI area.

You’ll deliver essential therapy services, applying your expertise in school-based OT and/or home health settings to help students achieve their academic and personal goals. This assignment is designed for an independent Occupational Therapist—no responsibilities involving supervision of COTAs or virtual-only service provision.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Current Wisconsin Occupational Therapist license (or eligibility to obtain by start date)
  • Experience in school-based settings; familiarity with IEP process and adapting interventions for educational success
  • Background working in home health OT is a plus
  • Strong communication skills to coordinate with educators, families, and staff
  • Organized, self-motivated, and adaptable in fast-paced environments

Your Role Will Include:

  • Conducting assessments and developing individualized treatment plans for students
  • Providing direct therapy interventions to support motor, sensory, and functional skills in the school environment
  • Participating in IEP meetings and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
  • Keeping thorough and timely documentation
  • Engaging with parents and guardians regarding student progress and strategies for continued home support
