Occupational Therapist School Setting in Sunnyvale, CA

As an Occupational Therapist working within an educational setting, you'll collaborate with dedicated educators and families, applying your expertise in school-based OT to foster student independence and participation. What we’re seeking:

• Current California Occupational Therapist license required
• Experience delivering OT services in K-12 school settings strongly preferred
• Proficiency conducting evaluations, developing IEP goals, and implementing therapy plans
• Strong communication skills for working with diverse students, teachers, and caregivers
• Ability to manage time efficiently and prioritize a dynamic caseload
• Passion for promoting inclusion and functional outcomes in a school community

Responsibilities will include:

• Conducting assessments to determine students’ therapy needs
• Developing and monitoring individualized intervention plans in coordination with the educational team
• Providing direct and consultative OT services in accordance with student IEPs
• Collaborating with teachers and parents to integrate OT strategies into daily routines
• Maintaining accurate documentation of services and progress
• Participating in IEP meetings and supporting the multidisciplinary team
