In this position, you’ll provide vital occupational therapy services two days each week, collaborating with school staff and families to design and implement individualized intervention plans. Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid Occupational Therapist license in California
• Previous experience in a school-based OT setting preferred
• Strong understanding of pediatric development and sensory integration
• Ability to develop and implement individualized education program (IEP) goals
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with staff, students, and families
• Proactive, organized, and enthusiastic about fostering student independence

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess students referred for occupational therapy and evaluate their needs
• Develop, implement, and monitor therapy plans tailored to each student’s goals
• Document progress and collaborate on IEP teams to ensure services align with academic objectives
• Provide direct treatment, consultation, and support to classroom staff and caregivers
• Educate and train school personnel on strategies to integrate therapy goals in daily activities
• Maintain accurate therapy records in compliance with district and state guidelines
