Occupational Therapist Positions – Sunnyvale, CA (School Setting)

Seeking two Occupational Therapists to provide short-term coverage within a school district in Sunnyvale, CA. These full-time, on-site assignments begin in late January and offer a great opportunity to support students across multiple educational sites. Both positions are contract-based with an initial 9-week duration, with one assignment potentially extending through the end of the school year and into the 2026/2027 school year.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver occupational therapy services to students in accordance with individual education plans (IEPs).
• Collaborate with educators and support staff to design and implement interventions that enhance students’ functional abilities.
• Serve multiple school sites, including preschool, elementary, middle, K-8, and high school settings.
• Maintain accurate documentation and participate in meetings related to student progress.
• Provide on-site services exclusively, ensuring direct interaction with students and staff.

Assignment Details:

• One assignment covers four sites: 2 preschool/elementary schools and 2 middle schools.
• The second assignment serves three sites: 1 elementary, 1 K-8, and 1 high school.
• Start date for both assignments is late January.
• Contract length: short-term (9 weeks), with potential extension for the school-year assignment.
• Full-time schedule, on-site only.

Qualifications:

• Valid Occupational Therapy license.
• Experience providing OT services in school settings.
• Ability to manage caseloads across multiple school sites.
