Qualifications & Preferred Experience:

  • Valid Occupational Therapist licensure for California.
  • Previous experience in school settings strongly preferred.
  • Expertise in assessment, intervention planning, and delivery of therapy for school-aged children.
  • Proficiency in collaborating as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and documentation skills.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to support students with diverse needs.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Assess students’ abilities and design individualized treatment plans to address fine motor, sensory processing, self-care, and classroom participation skills.
  • Deliver occupational therapy sessions one-on-one, in groups, or within classrooms.
  • Consult with teachers and support staff to adapt classroom activities and environments for student success.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal setting and progress review documentation.
  • Maintain accurate and timely records in accordance with school and legal requirements.
  • Communicate regularly with parents, staff, and administration regarding progress and strategies.
