This contract opportunity near Sunnyvale, CA, offers a consistent schedule—just two mornings a week, from 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM—allowing you to dedicate time to your passion while maintaining flexibility in your work-life balance.

What you’ll bring:

  • Current California Occupational Therapist license
  • Prior experience in a school-based setting, especially with TK–5th grade students
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to develop, implement, and document individualized treatment plans
  • Familiarity with IEP processes and relevant state/federal guidelines
  • Compassionate, student-centered outlook with a commitment to fostering independence

Key responsibilities:

  • Assess and provide direct occupational therapy services to students
  • Develop and implement tailored treatment plans to address students’ goals
  • Participate in IEP meetings, contributing evaluation results and progress updates
  • Educate and collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to promote carryover of skills
  • Monitor and document student progress, maintaining compliance with all state and federal requirements
  • Recommend environmental adaptations or classroom strategies that support student access and participation
