Make a real difference in the lives of young learners by offering your expertise as a part-time Occupational Therapist serving Transitional Kindergarten through 5th grade. This contract position provides you the opportunity to foster growth and independence in students while enjoying a flexible schedule near Sunnyvale, CA. Devote just eight hours per week across two mornings (approximately 8:30 am – 12:30 pm), where your commitment will help support student success over the 2026-2027 academic year.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Current, valid Occupational Therapist licensure/certification in California
  • Experience working with children in a school-based setting, preferably elementary (TK–5th)
  • Understanding of IEP process and ability to collaborate with educational teams
  • Strong communication skills with ability to connect with students, educators, and parents
  • Organizational abilities and skilled documentation habits
  • Adaptable, nurturing, and positive attitude toward student development

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct therapy and consultative services to students on your caseload
  • Assess, develop, and implement individualized intervention plans aligned with IEP goals
  • Monitor and document student progress, modifying strategies as needed
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and related service providers to ensure holistic support
  • Provide resources, training, and guidance to staff for the integration of sensory and motor strategies in classrooms
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute professional insight to student plans
