Qualifications & Experience:

  • Active Occupational Therapist license in California
  • Previous experience in school-based OT settings preferred
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Familiarity with IEP processes and documentation

  • Comfortable working independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for students
  • Deliver direct and consultative OT services per students’ IEP goals
  • Collaborate with other educators, families, and support staff to foster student participation and progress
  • Maintain accurate records and timely documentation as required by school and state guidelines
  • Participate in eligibility determination and IEP meetings
  • Educate staff and families on strategies to optimize students’ school performance and independence
  • Adapt interventions and modify classroom environments to support accessibility
