Occupational Therapist School Setting - Sunnyvale, CA

Bring your expertise in school-based OT practice to deliver assessment, intervention, and collaboration with an engaged team. You’ll work with students, educators, and families to help learners reach their full potential, developing skills necessary for classroom participation and daily life.

What you’ll need to thrive:

• Valid Occupational Therapist license in California
• Previous experience as a school-based OT strongly preferred
• Strong communication and organizational abilities
• Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Confidence conducting assessments, writing reports, and providing direct services
• Collaborative spirit for partnering with teachers, staff, and families
• Flexibility and reliability for the duration of the assignment

Your key responsibilities:

• Deliver occupational therapy services to students as outlined in their IEPs
• Conduct assessments and contribute to multidisciplinary eligibility and planning meetings
• Document progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with district standards
• Provide consultation and resources to staff and parents on strategies to support students
• Adapt and modify materials and environments to facilitate student participation
• Coordinate with school teams to monitor and report on student progress
