Step into an impactful role supporting student success as an Occupational Therapist within a school setting near the vibrant Sunnyvale, CA area. With flexible scheduling options, you can choose to provide five consecutive weeks of full-time services or opt for a part-time schedule of two days per week from now through the end of the school year. Compensation for this assignment ranges from $55 to $65 an hour, rewarding your dedication and specialized skills.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Current license to practice Occupational Therapy in California
  • Experience in a school environment or with pediatric populations is highly preferred
  • Ability to design and implement IEP-driven OT interventions
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills with students, staff, and families
  • Organizational skills and adaptability to meet changing caseload needs

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct occupational therapy services for approximately 25 days of service
  • Assess and document students’ functional abilities and areas for targeted support
  • Develop individualized intervention plans aligned with IEP goals
  • Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team collaborations
  • Consult with teachers and support staff to integrate OT strategies within the classroom
  • Monitor progress and maintain up-to-date service logs and documentation
