Occupational Therapist School Setting in Sunnyvale, CA

This full-time position (8 hours per day) invites you to deliver both direct service and consultative support, positively impacting young learners’ educational experience. With a caseload currently consisting of 22 direct service students and 13 consult students, your expertise will help students thrive academically, socially, and functionally.

Your day-to-day will include:

Key Qualifications & Skills:

• Valid California OT license required
• Previous experience in a school-based setting preferred
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and staff
• Ability to efficiently manage a dynamic, multi-site caseload
• Commitment to fostering student independence and success

Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized and group occupational therapy sessions as specified in IEPs
• Conduct assessments and complete necessary documentation within required timelines
• Provide consultative services for classroom teachers, administrators, and caregivers
• Monitor and record each student’s progress, adapting therapy plans as needed
• Participate in IEP meetings and provide insightful recommendations
• Foster a supportive, inclusive atmosphere for students across three school sites
