Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Valid OT licensure (or eligibility) in California
- Previous pediatric or school-based experience preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities
- Ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Compassion, adaptability, and a commitment to student success
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized intervention plans tailored to each student’s needs
- Collaborate with educators, families, and other specialists to support student progress
- Provide direct and consultative occupational therapy services within classroom and/or pull-out settings
- Document evaluations, interventions, and student progress in compliance with school and state requirements
- Contribute to IEP meetings and assist teachers in implementing appropriate accommodations and strategies
- Support the development of fine and gross motor skills, sensory processing, and functional independence
