Occupational Therapist School Setting in Surprise, AZ

Qualifications & Experience:

• Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OT) in Arizona
• Strong background in school-based OT services
• Experience developing and implementing IEPs and treatment plans
• Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, support staff, and families
• Comfort working with pediatric populations; adaptable to various developmental needs
• Excellent communication, organization, and documentation skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate students’ needs, strengths, and areas for growth within the school setting
• Develop individualized therapy plans in coordination with educational teams
• Utilize creative, evidence-based strategies to support students’ fine motor, sensory, and functional skills
• Document progress, update goals, and participate actively in IEP meetings
• Act as a resource for teachers and families, offering strategies for success in the classroom and beyond
