School Occupational Therapist | Surprise, Arizona

A rewarding contract opportunity is available for a dedicated Occupational Therapist looking to make a meaningful difference in K-12 educational settings. This full-time role, set near Surprise, AZ, spans the upcoming academic year—from August 6, 2026, through May 27, 2027—and offers a structured Monday through Friday schedule (40 hours per week, 8 hours per day).

You’ll enjoy the chance to work closely with students across all grade levels, delivering both direct and indirect services without additional non-therapy duties (such as bus or parent pick-up) outside your contracted hours. Travel therapists are eligible for stipends, adding flexibility and extra support for those coming from outside the area. Guaranteed hours help ensure consistency and work-life balance.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Valid state licensure (or eligibility for licensure) to practice as an OT in educational settings
• Previous experience in a school-based environment, preferably serving K-12 populations
• Strong communication, organization, and collaborative skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive OT services to students according to Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to optimize student success
• Complete accurate documentation for service delivery and student progress
• Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and school guidelines
• Engage in both direct (in-person) and indirect (consultative, evaluative, and documentation) services
