Essential Qualifications:
- Valid Occupational Therapy license for Oregon
- Experience or strong interest in school-based OT, especially with early intervention
- Ability to travel within Douglas County, primarily in the Roseburg area
- Compassion, excellent communication, and adaptability to work in home settings
- Familiarity with individualized education plans (IEPs) and early childhood development preferred
Core Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy services for early intervention, primarily in homes
- Collaborate with families, caregivers, and other team members to develop and implement therapy goals
- Participate in interdisciplinary meetings and contribute to multi-tiered support teams
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation
- Adjust and adapt strategies to best serve each child’s unique needs within their environment
