Make an immediate impact as a contract occupational therapist supporting early intervention services in a dynamic educational setting! This rewarding opportunity allows you to provide critical support for children and families by delivering therapeutic services directly in home environments. With a dedicated caseload and a contract running through June 2027, you’ll have the chance to form meaningful connections and drive positive outcomes across diverse communities within Douglas County.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Valid Occupational Therapy license for Oregon
  • Experience or strong interest in school-based OT, especially with early intervention
  • Ability to travel within Douglas County, primarily in the Roseburg area
  • Compassion, excellent communication, and adaptability to work in home settings
  • Familiarity with individualized education plans (IEPs) and early childhood development preferred

Core Responsibilities:

  • Deliver occupational therapy services for early intervention, primarily in homes
  • Collaborate with families, caregivers, and other team members to develop and implement therapy goals
  • Participate in interdisciplinary meetings and contribute to multi-tiered support teams
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation
  • Adjust and adapt strategies to best serve each child’s unique needs within their environment
