An established K-12 school in Sutton, Alaska is seeking Occupational Therapists to provide in-person services for the upcoming school year. This contract position will support a diverse student population within a structured educational environment, offering an opportunity to make a direct impact on students’ developmental and functional outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver up to approximately 1000 minutes (16 hours) of direct occupational therapy services weekly to students.
  • Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
  • Conduct assessments, monitor progress, and adjust interventions to meet student goals.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and comply with state and federal regulations.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to creating an inclusive and supportive school setting.

Qualifications:

  • Current Alaska licensure/certification as an Occupational Therapist; AK certification preferred.
  • Experience working within school-based settings or with pediatric populations.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Ability to provide services onsite; teletherapy is not accepted for this assignment.
  • Commitment to supporting student success through evidence-based interventions.

Position Details:

  • Location: Sutton, AK
  • Contract duration: School year (NSY) through May 21, 2027
  • Work schedule: 37.5 hours per week onsite
  • Caseload: Approximately 16 hours of direct student contact weekly
  • Number of positions: 3
