A fantastic opportunity awaits for a dedicated Occupational Therapist interested in serving young children through an engaging, full-time contract assignment covering a leave. This position begins in mid-November and continues through mid-February, with a thoughtful onboarding process that includes a week of overlap with the current OT. Located near Swartz Creek, MI, you’ll provide essential services to a caseload of birth-to-three-year-old children, supporting their development and enhancing educational access.

Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy
  • Valid Occupational Therapy license for the state of Michigan
  • Previous school-based or pediatric experience preferred
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to manage a full-time caseload independently and professionally

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver occupational therapy services to a birth-to-three caseload, focusing on developmental milestones and individual education plans
  • Complete thorough assessments, create targeted treatment plans, and set measurable goals specific to each student
  • Document progress and maintain compliant records in accordance with state and federal standards
  • Collaborate with staff and families to provide holistic, individualized support
  • Participate in meetings, share expertise, and educate colleagues on OT best practices
  • Communicate progress and recommendations to team members and parents in a clear, compassionate manner

This contract offers competitive hourly compensation that falls within the $40–55 range, paid weekly for your convenience.
