Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid Occupational Therapist license and registration
- Previous experience in school settings, preferably with both elementary and high school populations
- Proficiency in resource and self-contained classroom settings
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to adapt to various educational needs and work effectively with multidisciplinary teams
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and consultative OT services to students in elementary resource and self-contained classrooms, plus high school environments
- Collaborate with educators, families, and support personnel to integrate therapy goals into daily routines
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and utilize a full array of testing materials provided
- Participate in team meetings, performance reviews, and continuous process improvement initiatives
- Utilize real-time collaboration tools and participate in monthly meetings and roundtable discussions
- Stay current and expand your skill set with access to professional development courses
