Qualifications & Experience:

  • Valid Occupational Therapist license and registration
  • Previous experience in school settings, preferably with both elementary and high school populations
  • Proficiency in resource and self-contained classroom settings
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to adapt to various educational needs and work effectively with multidisciplinary teams

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct and consultative OT services to students in elementary resource and self-contained classrooms, plus high school environments
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and support personnel to integrate therapy goals into daily routines
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and utilize a full array of testing materials provided
  • Participate in team meetings, performance reviews, and continuous process improvement initiatives
  • Utilize real-time collaboration tools and participate in monthly meetings and roundtable discussions
  • Stay current and expand your skill set with access to professional development courses
