A fulfilling contract opportunity is available for a dedicated Occupational Therapist eager to work with K–12 students for the remainder of the school year. Based near Tacoma, WA, this role places you in a welcoming and supportive school environment, where your expertise will make a meaningful impact on students’ educational journeys.
You will work full-time, spending 35–40 hours per week onsite, providing direct and indirect therapy services to students in grades K–12. This assignment starts as soon as possible and continues through the end of the current school year.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy
- Active Occupational Therapist license in Washington
- ESA (Educational Staff Associate) certification
- Prior experience in school settings is preferred, but not required
Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized and group occupational therapy services for K–12 students
- Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and other school professionals to support each student’s unique needs
- Participate actively in IEP (Individualized Education Program) meetings and maintain required documentation
- Develop and tailor treatment plans to maximize student success and independence within the school environment
