School Occupational Therapist - Tacoma, Washington

Key Requirements:

• Active Washington OT License
• Completed fingerprinting with OSPI
• Proven experience in school-based occupational therapy, ideally with adolescents
• Skilled in supervising and supporting COTAs
• Strong communication, documentation, and collaboration abilities
• Passion for promoting independence and access for students with diverse needs

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized and group OT services to secondary students as identified in IEPs
• Assess student needs and develop personalized intervention plans
• Collaborate closely with teachers, support staff, and families
• Supervise and mentor a COTA, ensuring quality of care
• Maintain detailed records and provide progress reports
• Foster an inclusive and supportive school environment
