Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Valid Occupational Therapist license in Washington (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
  • Prior experience in school-based settings preferred; strong new graduates considered
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
  • Ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs
  • Current knowledge of best practices, state regulations, and IEP procedures

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment goals for students
  • Deliver direct and consultative OT services within school environments
  • Document progress, maintain accurate records, and contribute to IEP meetings
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support access to the curriculum
  • Adapt activities and provide recommendations to facilitate student participation and independence
  • Educate school staff and caregivers on strategies to support students’ sensory, fine motor, and self-care skills
