Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid Occupational Therapist license (or eligibility) for practice in Washington
- Experience in a school setting is preferred, but enthusiastic new graduates are welcome
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to evaluate student needs and design individualized intervention plans
- Commitment to student-centered, inclusive practices
Responsibilities:
- Assess and analyze students’ functional and developmental needs within the school environment
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans to improve students’ participation and skill acquisition
- Work alongside teachers, parents, and IEP teams to set goals and monitor student progress
- Document therapy sessions, progress notes, and compliance documentation as required
- Provide direct and consultative services to help students thrive academically and socially
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, offering expertise in occupational therapy
- Support professional development and ongoing learning for school staff, as appropriate
