Full-Time Occupational Therapist (OT) Needed | 2026-2027 School Year | Taos, NM

A school district in Taos, New Mexico is currently seeking a full-time Occupational Therapist (OT) for the upcoming 2026-2027 school year. This is an exciting opportunity to join a supportive educational team while working with students across a variety of grade levels. The district is actively reviewing resumes and scheduling interviews for qualified candidates.

Assignment Details:
• Position: Occupational Therapist (OT)
• Start Date: 8/12/2026
• End Date: 5/22/2027
• Full-Time: 35 hours per week
• Student Population: K-12, district-wide
• Caseload: Approximately 30–35 students

Responsibilities:
• Provide evaluations, assessments, and occupational therapy services for students
• Develop individualized treatment plans and IEP goals based on student needs
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress monitoring
• Participate in IEP meetings and provide recommendations for services

Qualifications:
• Active New Mexico Occupational Therapist License
• NPI Number required
• Medicaid Provider Number required
• Previous school-based or pediatric experience preferred, but not required
• Strong communication and organizational skills
