Take on a meaningful opportunity to support students by providing Occupational Therapy services in an elementary school setting. This contract position is onsite and runs from ASAP through June 26, 2026, serving students in Pre-K through 4th grade across two buildings. The schedule is Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 3:30 pm with a ½ hour unpaid lunch, totaling 32.5 hours per week.
Key Qualifications:
- Active Occupational Therapist (OT) license in Massachusetts
- Previous school-based OT experience preferred
- Demonstrated ability to work with students from Pre-K to 4th grade
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Comfortable collaborating with educators, families, and fellow support staff
- Capable of managing a varied caseload across multiple school buildings
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments of student needs
- Write comprehensive reports, present findings to educational teams, and help craft student plans
- Deliver both direct and consultative OT services in alignment with IEP goals
- Monitor and record student progress, preparing regular progress reports
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and other specialists to support student success
- Adapt strategies and materials to meet individual student needs in the classroom context
