A school district in New Mexico is currently seeking multiple Virtual Occupational Therapists (OTs) for the upcoming 2026-2027 school year. Assignment Details:
• Position: Virtual Occupational Therapist (OT)
• Multiple openings available
• Start Date: 8/7/2026
• End Date: 5/27/2027
• Full-Time Hours
• Remote/Virtual Position
Caseload/Details:
• Multiple caseload options available based on candidate preference and experience
• Student populations and grade levels will vary
• Please include candidate preferences when submitting/presenting candidates
Responsibilities:
• Provide virtual evaluations, assessments, and occupational therapy services for students
• Develop individualized treatment plans and IEP goals based on student needs
• Collaborate virtually with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress monitoring
• Participate in virtual IEP meetings and provide recommendations for services
Qualifications:
• Active New Mexico Occupational Therapist License
• Previous school-based or teletherapy experience preferred, but not required
• Comfortable using virtual therapy platforms and technology
• Strong communication and organizational skills
