A specialized occupational therapy position is available to provide targeted support through telehealth services. This role focuses on delivering therapy to a fifth-grade student facing mobility challenges and assistance needs with eating.

Location: Bixby, OK | Contract Position | School Setting

Responsibilities:

• Conduct one hour of occupational therapy weekly via teletherapy for a fifth-grade student
• Address mobility limitations and support adaptive feeding techniques
• Monitor and document progress, adjusting interventions as necessary to meet the student's evolving needs
• Collaborate with educational staff and caregivers to ensure continuity of care and effective communication
• Utilize telehealth platforms proficiently to deliver engaging and effective therapy sessions

Qualifications:

• Licensed Occupational Therapist with experience in pediatric care, particularly in school-based settings
• Proficiency in teletherapy and telehealth OT service delivery
• Skilled in assisting with mobility and feeding challenges in children
• Strong communication skills for coordinating with students, families, and educational personnel
• Ability to adapt treatment plans according to individual student requirements despite limited session frequency
