Remote Occupational Therapist in MI

A contract opportunity is available for a skilled Occupational Therapist specializing in school-based services with experience in telehealth modalities. This role is located in Dearborn Heights, MI, and focuses on supporting students’ developmental and functional needs within an educational setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations and assessments for students.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to students’ educational and functional goals.
• Deliver occupational therapy services through both in-person and telehealth formats.
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress.
• Maintain accurate documentation and comply with school and regulatory guidelines.
• Participate in meetings and contribute to the development of intervention strategies.

Qualifications:

• Licensed Occupational Therapist with experience in school-based practice.
• Proficiency in delivering occupational therapy services via telehealth platforms.
• Strong understanding of educational environments and individualized education programs (IEPs).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills tailored to working with children and multidisciplinary teams.
• Ability to manage a caseload efficiently while maintaining high professional standards.
