A full-time Occupational Therapist (OT) opportunity is available in Elkhart, IN, providing specialized telehealth services with a focus on secondary age students in an elementary school setting. This contract position requires a professional skilled in delivering effective OT interventions remotely, while also preferring onsite presence to support student needs comprehensively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct telehealth occupational therapy sessions tailored to the developmental and educational needs of secondary-age students.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with educators and caregivers.
  • Monitor progress and adjust therapy goals to maximize student outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate, timely documentation of therapy sessions and student progress.
  • Facilitate communication between the school staff, students, and families to ensure continuity of care.
  • Preferably provide onsite support to complement virtual services as required.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Licensed Occupational Therapist with current credentials.
  • Experience working with school-aged children, preferably at the secondary level.
  • Competence in telehealth service delivery, including familiarity with relevant technology platforms and remote engagement strategies.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with students, families, and school personnel.
  • Ability to work full-time hours and commit to the contract duration.

Location:

  • Position based in Elkhart, Indiana, with a preference for onsite work combined with telehealth services.

Employment terms include a contract-based arrangement with full-time hours, starting as soon as possible through May 28, 2027.
