Teletherapy Occupational Therapist | Florida

A contract opportunity is available for an Occupational Therapist with expertise in school-based services and telehealth, located in Fort Lauderdale, FL. This position involves supporting students across seven schools and supervising a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA). The role requires approximately 30 hours per week.

Key responsibilities include:

• Providing occupational therapy services within school settings via both in-person and telehealth modalities
• Collaborating with educators, families, and other professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Supervising a COTA to ensure quality care and compliance with therapeutic goals
• Documenting progress and maintaining accurate records in accordance with regulatory standards

Qualifications:

• Valid Occupational Therapist license appropriate for school practice
• Experience delivering occupational therapy in school environments and via telehealth platforms
• Ability to supervise COTA’s and guide clinical practices effectively
• Strong communication and organizational skills to coordinate with multiple schools and stakeholders
