Soliant has an opening for a School-Based Occupational Therapist – Student Services on a full-time contract assignment with a Nevada school district. This role focuses on helping students develop the motor, sensory, and functional skills necessary for success in the classroom environment. Responsibilities:
• Evaluate students' functional and developmental needs.
• Develop individualized occupational therapy treatment plans.
• Provide direct and consultative therapy services.
• Document progress and maintain compliance with IEP requirements.
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and related service providers.
• Recommend adaptive equipment and classroom accommodations.
Skills:
• Strong assessment and treatment planning abilities.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and within multidisciplinary teams.
• Knowledge of pediatric occupational therapy practices.
Qualifications:
• Nevada Occupational Therapist License.
• Eligibility to work in school settings.
• Licensing assistance may be available.
Experience:
• School-based or pediatric experience preferred.
• Experience working with children with diverse learning needs is beneficial.
Education:
• Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
