Occupational Therapist School Setting in Temecula, CA

Make an impact working with K-12 students as an Occupational Therapist in a supportive school environment near Temecula, CA. This part-time contract role runs from August 6, 2026, through May 27, 2027, offering the opportunity to contribute your expertise and guide students toward greater independence and participation in their school day.

What You’ll Bring:

• Current Occupational Therapist license valid in California
• Experience supporting students in school settings (K-12 preferred)
• Understanding of IEP development and documentation
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and faculty
• Ability to adapt strategies for a diverse range of ages and learning needs

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

• Provide direct therapy and consultative services to students individually or in groups, supporting development of fine motor, sensory processing, self-care, and functional classroom skills
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including teachers and administrators, to develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Assess student needs, create treatment plans, and monitor progress, making adjustments as needed
• Participate in parent meetings and share recommendations in a clear, supportive manner
• Maintain accurate and timely records in accordance with district and regulatory requirements
