What You’ll Bring:
- Current Occupational Therapist license valid in California
- Experience supporting students in school settings (K-12 preferred)
- Understanding of IEP development and documentation
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and faculty
- Ability to adapt strategies for a diverse range of ages and learning needs
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Provide direct therapy and consultative services to students individually or in groups, supporting development of fine motor, sensory processing, self-care, and functional classroom skills
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including teachers and administrators, to develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Assess student needs, create treatment plans, and monitor progress, making adjustments as needed
- Participate in parent meetings and share recommendations in a clear, supportive manner
- Maintain accurate and timely records in accordance with district and regulatory requirements
