Desired Qualifications & Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
  • Valid OT license in California
  • Previous experience in school-based settings preferred
  • Strong collaboration skills with teachers, support staff, and families
  • Confidence working with students from diverse backgrounds and with varying needs, from kindergarten through high school
  • Excellent communication and documentation abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic educational environment

Role Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and assess students’ functional abilities related to school participation, designing individualized intervention plans
  • Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services aligned with IEP goals
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to promote student access to curriculum and activities
  • Develop strategies and supports to enhance students’ fine motor, sensory, and self-care skills
  • Maintain thorough records of interventions, progress, and compliance with state and federal regulations
  • Offer training and resources to educational staff and families as needed
