Certified Elementary School Occupational Therapist | Temecula, California

Step into a dynamic school-based role, working directly with elementary-aged students in a supportive, collaborative environment. This is a full-time, onsite contract assignment, offering the chance to make a real difference in the lives of children. You’ll be engaging with a diverse caseload of around 80 students across several elementary schools and will have the valued assistance of a dedicated full-time COTA.

Desired Qualifications:

• Active and current Occupational Therapy license in California
• Certification in Occupational Therapy required
• Experience working with elementary-aged students preferred
• Ability to work efficiently across multiple sites and adapt to changing environments
• Commitment to delivering quality, student-centered care
• Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess, plan, and deliver therapy services to elementary-aged students with various needs
• Develop individualized treatment plans and goals in collaboration with teachers, families, and other specialists
• Monitor and document student progress, adjusting interventions as needed
• Provide consultative services and training to school staff and families regarding therapeutic strategies
• Collaborate closely with a full time Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to support and enhance student outcomes
• Travel between assigned elementary schools within the district as part of your regular schedule
