Step into a rewarding contract role where your expertise as an Occupational Therapist makes a real difference in the lives of elementary students. This full-time, onsite opportunity begins as soon as possible and is anticipated to extend through the end of the school year. Serving multiple elementary schools near the Temecula, CA area, you’ll work with an engaging and diverse caseload of approximately 80 students, providing essential therapies that help students thrive in their educational journey.

You will enjoy the support of a dedicated full-time Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA), making collaboration and sharing of duties seamless and effective.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Valid and current Occupational Therapist certification and licensure
  • Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting, preferably with elementary-aged children
  • Strong understanding of IEP process and documentation requirements
  • Ability to adapt therapy plans to meet students’ varied needs
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Passion for supporting the academic and emotional growth of students

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans and interventions
  • Conduct assessments to identify students’ OT needs within the school environment
  • Collaborate closely with classroom teachers, support staff, and families
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation for student progress and IEP compliance
  • Supervise and consult with the COTA to ensure consistent, high-quality support across all assigned schools
  • Travel between school sites during the week to reach all students on your caseload
