Elementary Licensed School Occupational Therapist - Temecula, California

Step into an engaging contract opportunity as an experienced, certified Occupational Therapist working with elementary-aged students in a supportive educational environment. This full-time, onsite role begins as soon as possible and is anticipated to extend through the school year. You’ll play a key part in helping young learners develop essential skills alongside a skilled Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA), working collaboratively across multiple elementary school sites.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid Occupational Therapist license and certification required
• Previous experience in a school-based setting, preferably with elementary-aged students
• Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with educators, families, and support staff
• Passion for student progress and creative approach to therapy strategies
• Ability to manage and prioritize a caseload of approximately 80 students
• Comfortable traveling between multiple schools as needed

What You’ll Do:

• Deliver direct and consultative OT services in person to elementary students with a variety of needs
• Assess students’ abilities, create individualized treatment plans, and monitor progress
• Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and families for integrative care
• Document services and maintain detailed records in compliance with school and state guidelines
• Supervise and work alongside a full-time COTA to maximize student outcomes
• Participate in team meetings and contribute expertise in student support planning
