Elementary Licensed School Occupational Therapist | Temecula, California

Step into a meaningful contract role supporting elementary students as a licensed Occupational Therapist. This onsite opportunity offers immediate start and is likely to continue through the end of the current school year. You’ll work full time, providing services across multiple elementary sites and collaborating closely with a dedicated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA). Your caseload will consist of approximately 80 students, allowing you to truly make an impact within the school community.

Qualifications:

• Valid and active Occupational Therapist license in the state
• Certification as a school-based Occupational Therapist
• Experience working with elementary-aged children preferred
• Strong collaboration and communication skills
• Ability to manage and prioritize a diverse caseload across several school locations

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services, in line with each student’s IEP
• Evaluate student abilities and develop individualized treatment plans
• Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to maximize student success
• Document therapy sessions and maintain accurate records in accordance with school guidelines
• Supervise and partner with the on-site COTA for enhanced student support
