Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid Occupational Therapist license in Florida (or eligibility to obtain)
- Background in school-based OT practices, home health, healthcare, and/or teletherapy settings
- Experience working with K-12 student populations a plus
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Passion for supporting diverse learners and facilitating student engagement
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate students’ motor skills and sensory needs to develop individualized treatment plans
- Provide direct occupational therapy services to K-12 students in individual and group settings
- Collaborate with educators, caregivers, and multidisciplinary teams
- Attend IEP meetings, document progress, and contribute to ongoing student assessments
- Utilize technology for teletherapy when appropriate and maintain thorough records
