Occupational Therapist School Setting in Tijeras, NM

This part-time contract opportunity is perfect for an experienced and compassionate Occupational Therapist who thrives in a collaborative educational environment. With a flexible schedule of 20-25 hours per week, you’ll support K-12 scholars, helping them achieve their full potential.

Role Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized assessments for students from kindergarten through 12th grade
• Develop and implement intervention plans based on assessment outcomes
• Attend and participate in IEP meetings to help shape student goals and services
• Partner closely with teachers, administrators, and families to promote student growth
• Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with school and state guidelines
• Contribute to positive, team-focused problem solving for students' diverse needs

Qualifications:

• Valid New Mexico Occupational Therapist license
• New Mexico Occupational Therapist PED certification
• Previous experience with pediatric or school-based populations is strongly preferred
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work seamlessly within interdisciplinary teams
• Commitment to culturally responsive, student-centered care
