Qualifications and Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
  • Current OT license in the state of New Hampshire (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Previous experience supporting children in a school-based environment is highly valued
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities, working closely with teachers, families, and other providers
  • Proficiency in assessing student needs and designing individualized intervention plans
  • Commitment to fostering independence and functional skills in a school setting

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct occupational therapy services to students, both individually and in groups
  • Develop, implement, and update Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
  • Conduct assessments and interpret results to develop appropriate therapy interventions
  • Support students in developing fine motor, sensory, and self-care skills crucial for academic and social success
  • Maintain clear and accurate documentation of progress, goals, and services provided
  • Educate and consult with school staff and families to maximize student participation and access to the curriculum
