Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity providing expert occupational therapy services to students in grades K-12. This full-time position spans the entire academic year, offering engaging and impactful work from late August through mid-June. As a crucial partner in fostering students' academic and personal success, you'll collaborate with educators and families to address a wide range of developmental, physical, and sensory needs within a supportive school environment.

Key Qualifications & Experience:

  • Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist
  • Previous experience working in a school setting or with pediatric populations preferred
  • Familiarity with IEP development, documentation, and goal setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with teachers, staff, and families
  • Ability to manage a diverse caseload ranging from kindergarten through 12th grade
  • Commitment to evidence-based, student-centered therapeutic practices

Core Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized intervention plans for students
  • Deliver direct and consultative OT services to support students’ functional abilities in the classroom and beyond
  • Monitor progress and maintain clear, compliant documentation in accordance with school policies
  • Advise and train school staff on strategies to support students’ access to curriculum and participation in school activities
  • Participate in IEP meetings, team collaborations, and parent conferences as needed
  • Foster an inclusive, encouraging environment where every student can thrive
