Qualifications and Experience:

• Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy (OT) is required
• Active OT license in the state of California
• Proven experience or familiarity with school-based OT practices
• Comfort with education-related terminology, standardized assessments, and the Special Education process
• Ability to adapt to varied caseloads across multiple schools (itinerant assignments possible)
• Confidence in working with limited supervision and exercising professional judgment
• Excellent communication and organization skills

Role Responsibilities:

• Deliver OT services to students ranging from kindergarten through 12th grade
• Conduct thorough evaluations and develop individualized plans to support student success
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to ensure cohesive support
• Interpret assessment results and contribute to IEP meetings
• Maintain clear documentation to support student progress and adherence to guidelines
• Support educational teams by integrating OT strategies into classroom routines
