We're seeking motivated Occupational Therapists who are committed to making a positive impact in educational environments. Your expertise will help students reach their full potential as you collaborate with educators, families, and multi-disciplinary teams. Assignments may be itinerant and will include varying caseloads throughout the academic year.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
  • Active Occupational Therapist license issued by the state of California
  • Previous exposure to school-based OT services or fieldwork in educational settings
  • Familiarity with standardized assessments, educational terminology, and the Special Education process
  • Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Comfort working with diverse K-12 student populations
  • Ability to travel between school sites as assigned

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide occupational therapy services to students from kindergarten through high school, supporting their participation in school routines
  • Develop and implement individualized intervention plans and document progress
  • Evaluate and use standardized assessments in alignment with district protocols
  • Collaborate with teachers, special educators, and families to support student success
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the multidisciplinary special education process
  • Adapt services to each school’s needs as assignments vary

This contract is full-time, running from August 11, 2026, through June 4, 2027. VOCO assignments are strictly on-site, offering the chance to engage directly with students and teams.
