Step into an impactful role supporting students across three educational settings—elementary, middle, and high school—in the Torrance, CA area. This full-time contract opportunity is designed for a certified and licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) who thrives in school-based environments and is ready to start as soon as possible, continuing through June 5, 2026.

You'll manage a caseload of 49 students, collaborating with educators and families to help students achieve their goals. Each day brings variety as you travel between three different school sites, making a difference in the lives of children and adolescents at multiple grade levels.

Qualifications:

  • Current Occupational Therapist licensure and certification
  • Previous school-based OT experience is required
  • Experience working at elementary, middle, and high school levels
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to manage diverse caseloads and travel between school sites
  • Knowledge of IEP process and school documentation standards

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct occupational therapy services for students in elementary, middle, and high school
  • Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with student support teams
  • Document progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with school policies
  • Offer consultative support and training to school staff and families
  • Adapt services to meet the unique developmental needs of students at each grade level
