An exciting contract opportunity is available for a licensed Occupational Therapist with expertise in school-based settings. This position serves students across elementary, middle, and high school levels for the remainder of the academic year, through June 5, 2026. Embracing the diversity and challenges of working at three different school sites, you will provide vital support to a caseload of approximately 49 students.

Key Qualifications:

  • Current Occupational Therapy certification and appropriate licensure for California
  • Demonstrated experience in school settings, preferably with caseload management for multiple grade levels (elementary, middle, and high school)
  • Strong communication and organizational skills to collaborate effectively with students, parents, staff, and other professionals
  • Ability to adapt therapeutic approaches to meet varied student needs, fostering independence and academic success

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assess, plan, and deliver occupational therapy services to students as outlined in their IEPs
  • Track student progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in IEP meetings at each assigned site
  • Develop individualized treatment plans targeting fine motor skills, sensory integration, self-care, and classroom participation
  • Collaborate with educators and families to support inclusive learning environments
  • Travel between the high school, middle school, and elementary school sites as needed
  • Participate in ongoing professional development to maintain best practices in school-based OT service delivery
