Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Occupational Therapist (OT) license in California
- Background in delivering school-based OT services
- Experience working with diverse student populations (PreK-8th preferred)
- Strong collaboration and communication skills for team-based support
- Adaptability and problem-solving skills; comfortable navigating multiple sites
- Teletherapy experience is valued, but in-person service is required for this assignment
Role Responsibilities:
- Assess and evaluate students’ needs to develop effective treatment plans
- Deliver direct and consultative OT services tailored to individual educational plans
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams for student success
- Document progress, maintain compliance with regulations, and participate in IEP meetings
- Support students’ functional independence in academic and daily activities across different school environments
