Qualifications & Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
  • Current, valid OT licensure in California
  • Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting strongly preferred
  • Familiarity with IEP process and documentation standards
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Commitment to evidence-based, student-centered practice
  • Ability to collaborate easily with multidisciplinary teams

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations to identify students’ needs
  • Develop and implement individualized occupational therapy plans in line with IEP goals
  • Engage students in creative and effective therapeutic activities addressing fine/gross motor skills, sensory integration, and daily living skills
  • Maintain accurate records and progress notes in accordance with school and regulatory guidelines
  • Participate in IEP meetings as a knowledgeable resource and advocate for student needs
  • Educate teachers and caregivers on strategies and adaptations for classroom and home
  • Adjust interventions based on ongoing assessment and team input
