Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OT)
- Experience working with school-aged children or within educational systems preferred
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- Ability to develop and implement individualized and group interventions
- Dedication to fostering students’ functional independence and participation in the classroom
Responsibilities Include:
- Conducting assessments and developing individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Delivering direct and consultative occupational therapy services within the school setting
- Collaborating with educators, families, and other professionals to support student needs
- Monitoring and documenting student progress toward IEP goals
- Providing recommendations for classroom modifications or assistive devices as necessary
- Participating in team meetings and contributing to program planning and student success
