Occupational Therapist School Setting in Tracy, CA

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Valid licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OT)
• Experience working with school-aged children or within educational systems preferred

• Ability to develop and implement individualized and group interventions
• Dedication to fostering students’ functional independence and participation in the classroom

Responsibilities Include:

• Conducting assessments and developing individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Delivering direct and consultative occupational therapy services within the school setting
• Collaborating with educators, families, and other professionals to support student needs
• Monitoring and documenting student progress toward IEP goals
• Providing recommendations for classroom modifications or assistive devices as necessary
• Participating in team meetings and contributing to program planning and student success
