Occupational Therapist School Setting in Trenton, NJ

Take on a rewarding contract opportunity as an Occupational Therapist for a 12-week assignment starting in September, working with students from PreK through 4th grade. Key Qualifications:

• Master’s or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Active New Jersey state license to practice as an Occupational Therapist
• Prior experience in school-based settings or with pediatric populations preferred
• Ability to design and implement individualized intervention plans
• Excellent communication and organizational skills for collaboration with teachers, families, and other professionals

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services to students in PreK-4th grade
• Evaluate students’ needs, develop treatment goals, and monitor progress
• Collaborate with educators and multidisciplinary teams to integrate therapy strategies into classroom routines
• Prepare documentation in accordance with district policies and state/federal regulations
• Provide input for Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Contribute to professional development and parent education sessions as needed
