Step into a dynamic school-based role supporting students in grades PreK-4 as a contract Occupational Therapist for a 12-week assignment beginning in September. This full-time opportunity offers a chance to make a significant impact on young learners’ development and independence, utilizing your clinical expertise and creative problem-solving skills in a supportive educational setting.

Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
  • Valid Occupational Therapy license in the state of New Jersey
  • Experience working with children in school or pediatric settings is highly desirable
  • Strong communication and organizational abilities
  • Collaborative mindset and commitment to student-centered interventions

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assess and evaluate students’ needs to develop individualized treatment plans
  • Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services in accordance with IEP goals
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to ensure integrated care and accommodations
  • Maintain accurate documentation of progress, goals, and services in compliance with state and district requirements
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and encouraging environment for all students
