Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OT) in New Jersey
• Previous experience in school-based OT, home health, or pediatric OT preferred
• Familiarity with developing and implementing IEP goals
• Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and other service providers
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct occupational therapy services to students according to their IEPs
• Deliver individualized and small group sessions with a frequency of six times per month, 25 minutes per session
• Assess students’ needs and contribute to the development of measurable goals
• Document session outcomes, progress, and ongoing interventions thoroughly
• Consult with teachers, parents, and education team members regarding student progress and strategies
• Support students’ development of fine motor, sensory-processing, and adaptive skills tailored to the school setting
