A new opportunity is open for a full-time Occupational Therapist to support preschool through middle school students in a school-based environment near Tucson, AZ, for the remainder of the current academic year. This contract position allows you to make a meaningful difference in students’ lives while working alongside dedicated education professionals.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid Occupational Therapist license in Arizona
- Arizona Speech and Language Pathology certificate (required)
- Prior experience providing OT services in schools is highly preferred
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with educators, students, and families
- Familiarity with IEP documentation and service logs
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct therapy services to a diverse caseload of preschool and middle school students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for students with varying needs
- Assess, screen, and document students’ progress, ensuring compliance with state and federal guidelines
- Consult with teachers, school staff, and families to support students’ educational goals
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expert recommendations
- Maintain accurate records and timely reporting
