Occupational Therapist School Setting - Tucson, AZ

This contract position primarily covers Extended School Year (ESY) services, with the possibility of extending into the new school year for the right candidate. Position Details:

• Contract assignment from June 1st to June 25th, with hours from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM each day.
• Deliver occupational therapy services to students in a school setting, supporting their educational and developmental needs.
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) focused on meaningful outcomes.
• Employ evidence-based strategies and interventions tailored to students’ unique needs.
• Conduct assessments, maintain documentation, and monitor student progress throughout the assignment.
• Work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team to promote student growth.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in Arizona (or eligibility to obtain).
• Previous experience delivering OT services in a school setting is highly preferred.
• Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic environment and build rapport with students and staff.
