Occupational Therapist School Setting in Tucson, AZ

An exciting opportunity awaits a dedicated Occupational Therapist to work on a full-time contract basis in a school setting near Tucson, AZ. This assignment begins November 6, 2026, and extends through June 30, 2027, providing consistent hours and the chance to make a meaningful impact throughout the school year.

Qualifications and Preferred Experience:

• Active Occupational Therapist license in Arizona (or eligibility to obtain before start date)
• Previous experience as an OT in school settings strongly preferred
• Understanding of pediatric therapy methods and individualized education programs (IEPs)
• Strong communication and documentation skills
• Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct occupational therapy services to students according to IEP requirements
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to develop and implement support strategies
• Complete timely and accurate documentation for evaluations, goals, and progress
• Attend and contribute to IEP meetings and interdisciplinary planning sessions
• Adapt interventions to help students achieve their academic and functional goals
