Qualifications:

  • Valid state licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure as an Occupational Therapist
  • Experience in school-based settings preferred
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to design and implement evidence-based intervention plans
  • Current CPR certification and background check clearance

Core Responsibilities:

  • Assess students to determine occupational therapy needs and develop individualized plans
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success
  • Deliver direct therapy, group sessions, and classroom interventions as outlined by IEPs
  • Maintain detailed records and contribute to evaluations and progress reports
  • Educate school staff on strategies and supports related to student motor and functional skills
