This full-time, on-site opportunity supports a leave of absence at the elementary level, where your expertise will make an immediate impact. Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
  • Active and clear California OT license (no COTAs)
  • Previous school-based OT experience strongly preferred
  • Ability to start as soon as possible and commit through April
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Experience managing a caseload of elementary-aged students
  • Comfortable adapting to potential changes from district board meetings
  • Team player with a flexible and proactive mindset

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct OT services to students in accordance with IEPs and district policies
  • Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to address student needs
  • Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and maintain accurate records
  • Attend IEP meetings and contribute expertise in support of student goals
  • Manage therapy schedules and effectively prioritize caseload across Marblehead Elementary
  • Deliver evidence-based interventions to improve fine motor, sensory, and self-care skills
  • Foster a positive, inclusive environment that encourages student growth

This contract position offers full-time hours (5 days per week) with consideration for part-time candidates. You’ll gain hands-on experience in an innovative district that values your clinical judgment and commitment to student progress.
