Your background in pediatric or school-based occupational therapy will be essential in addressing students' functional needs. You’ll collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, develop IEP goals, and provide direct therapy services within a supportive setting.
What we’re looking for:
- Active Pennsylvania Occupational Therapy license/certification
- Proven experience in a school-based OT role (COTAs not considered for this position)
- Comfortable and enthusiastic about working in an urban school environment
- Able to handle a K-12 caseload, adapting techniques for students across all age groups
- Willingness to obtain all necessary Pennsylvania clearances
- Ability to participate in a Zoom interview and provide documentation of licensure
- Strong communication skills for working with students, families, and school staff
What you’ll do:
- Deliver occupational therapy services to a diverse K-12 student caseload
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in conjunction with IEP teams
- Document progress and maintain thorough, timely records
- Provide consultation and support to teachers and parents regarding students’ needs
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to a collaborative educational environment
